Lesson Description

In this art class, children will learn how to write words using one point perspective. They will begin their artwork by marking the vanishing point. Then, they will learn how to write their name in big, block letters. They will be taught to connect their name to the vanishing point by drawing a line. This will teach them how to create a ‘pop-out’ effect using lines.

They will practise drawing outlines using a sketch pen. Then, they will complete their artwork by colouring with oil pastels of different colours. After completing this class, children will learn how to write any word using one point perspective.
