Lesson Description

Texture is an element of art. There are two types of texture: actual texture and visual texture. Actual texture is the physical sensation one feels when touching a surface; a stone will be rough, for example. Visual texture refers to the visual impression created by an artist—an image, photo, or texture that cannot be touched but can be seen.
