Lesson Description

A blue whale’s heart is the largest on the planet - it weighs about 400 pounds! We can’t begin to fathom the size of a blue whale. But, we can use origami to create a mini whale!

In this class, your child will learn how to create an origami whale. This craftwork is super fun and easy to create. They will begin the whale by making a valley fold and creating a kite base. They will learn how to fold paper carefully and align edges. They will also understand how paper can be folded to create the tail of the whale. They will complete their craftwork by drawing the eye of the whale using a marker!
